I think, of all the kinds of poetry I've attempted, tanka has been best for expressing the frustration of time's passing. Longer poetry often labours these kinds of fleeting points.
Thank you Liam. It's funny how a chance meeting can raise all kinds of thoughts and emotions and without doubt tanka is the best tool (for me) to express them.
