to see another with intention, we look with the eyes of our hearts...
i've read this several times with so much enjoyment recalling when i too have seen and known and perhaps even loosed, in some way, the beautiful wild in another.
a beautiful tanka, in the depths of the eyes we see so many things, for that very reason somehow there's an element of fear attached to seeing and been seen through the depths,
Hi Devika and welcome to Paper Moon. Thank you for your thoughtful comments on this and other recent posts. I really feel encouraged when other poets/readers take the time to comment.
have just realised what gets under my skin where tanka is concerned -it is the same reason i love it but am unable to write it.Tanka states something that cannot or indeed does not need to be changed, challenged or questioned. I love this one- it's a whisper and i can't help wanting to hear the whole song.
