too good, Paul :)

its only a while ago i said at an other blog that i agree to the idea of poetry as a spontaneous overflow of emotions, than as a flow of finely crafted words...."spontaneous overflow" you would know is a quote by Wordsworth...

"Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility"

i LOVE than quote, so much as I love poetry :)

i must say....poetry as a craft is something i could never do; except perhaps haiku :)

Devika, thank you for your thoughtful response. It is always ok for you to share a little of your own story. I have always been a poet of the moment, words rise up in search of wings and all I really do is open the door.

Thank you Paul...yeah, that poet of the moment strikes a chord....and i guess capturing the beauty and insight of the moment has been my interest in haiku...but there somehow I feel it more about the mind-job...than a matter of the soul :)
