I seek to write
but page
after page
of the heart

I feel the weight of me
more and more
as swallows
weave their signature
through sky

as if it was
the only flower
that ever bloomed
she stoops to touch
a daisy

her words
have painted a meadow
in me
where countless flowers
bloom
